Marisa Jarmon Joins The Meeks Marketing Team

We are excited to announce that Marisa Jarmon is joining the Meeks Marketing team. For the majority of her career, Marisa worked in marketing for an Austin-based construction company. During her 11 years there, she held a wide range of responsibilities, including developing proposals, creating marketing collateral and presentations, implementing a CRM system, establishing department processes and procedures, and managing company events. Marisa loves learning and consistently seeks out avenues to grow and expand her marketing skills, including taking online classes. 

Marisa graduated from Texas State University with a B.A. in English with a professional writing emphasis. She resides in San Marcos with her husband, Cody, and spunky two-year-old daughter, Nora. In her spare time, Marisa loves to travel, read, cook, organize, puzzle, and plan themed parties for friends and family.

Marisa has been involved with SMPS Austin for nine years, including serving on the board for five years. She first served as Membership Director, then as the chapter’s first-ever Special Events Director. She helped develop and oversee many of the chapter’s successful events, including the award-winning Black + White Bash and the Inaugural Axe Throwing Competition.
